Donna Mc Gettigan BSc (Hons) PGD MSc has over a decade of experience working as a nutritionist and nutrition consultant.

Her aim is to inspire healthy eating by giving scientifically proven dietary and lifestyle advice and ultimately, to empower people to take control of their health.

Donna graduated from Ulster University, Coleraine in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Food Technology. She then worked in the biochemical analysis of food.

This led to an increased interest in nutrition, and in 2005 Donna graduated from Ulster University with a postgraduate diploma (PGD) in Human Nutrition exploring the science of food as it relates to human health.

In 2016 Donna attained a masters degree (MSc) in Food Regulatory Affairs from Ulster University and University College Dublin, which integrates science, law and food/health policy as applied to the regulation of the entire food chain. Her research area was nutrition and health claims in Ireland. She has many years experience working in the food industry. Her unique education and experience have given her a comprehensive knowledge of food and nutrition.

Donna is lucky enough to be from Donegal where she lives with her family.
